Who We Are
Milan Ethiopia Tours was founded on a single conviction: Ethiopia deserves tour operators who are as extraordinary as the country itself. Too many international visitors pass through Ethiopia’s most remarkable places in organized groups, moving on schedule, seeing what the itinerary prescribes rather than what the destination truly offers.
We built Milan Ethiopia Tours to offer something different — a fully private, personally guided, locally rooted experience that treats every traveler as an individual rather than a passenger.
Over more than seven years of operation, we have guided travelers from across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Ethiopian diaspora through every major destination in the country. Our clients return because the experience they received was not just logistically excellent — it was genuinely human.

Milan Ethiopia Tours is a locally-owned Ethiopian company. We are not a franchise, not a global agency, and not a booking platform. Every decision is made in Addis Ababa by people who know Ethiopia deeply.
Private, Not Shared
We operate exclusively on a private basis. No fixed departure dates, no shared coaches, no strangers at your dinner table. Every journey is designed from scratch for you.
Ethically Operated
We pay fair wages to every driver, cook, and local guide. We pay community fees directly to tribal communities in the Omo Valley. We do not exploit cultural access — we compensate it.
