Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa – City Tour
Arrive in Addis Ababa, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, explore the National Museum (home of Lucy), the Holy Trinity Cathedral, and enjoy panoramic views from Mount Entoto.

Day 2: Fly to Bahir Dar – Lake Tana & Blue Nile Falls
Morning flight to Bahir Dar. Take a boat trip on Lake Tana, the source of the Blue Nile, visiting ancient island monasteries like Ura Kidane Mihret. In the afternoon, visit the Blue Nile Falls, one of Ethiopia’s most spectacular natural attractions.

Day 3: Bahir Dar – Gondar (Royal Enclosure & Churches)
Drive to Gondar, Ethiopia’s 17th-century capital. Visit the Royal Enclosure (Fasil Ghebbi), Fasilides’ Bath, and the beautifully painted Debre Berhan Selassie Church. Learn about Ethiopia’s medieval architecture and religious art.

Day 4: Gondar – Simien Mountains National Park – Gondar
Take a day excursion to the Simien Mountains, a UNESCO-listed park known for its dramatic escarpments and unique wildlife. Enjoy a guided hike to spot Gelada monkeys, and take in breathtaking mountain views. Return to Gondar in the evening.

Day 5: Fly to Lalibela – Rock-Hewn Churches
Fly to Lalibela, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Visit the first cluster of rock-hewn churches, including Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Maryam, and Bete Golgotha, carved from solid volcanic rock in the 12th century.

Day 6: Lalibela – Second Group of Churches – Fly to Addis Ababa
In the morning, visit the second group of Lalibela’s churches, including Bete Giyorgis (St. George), the most iconic of all. Experience a traditional coffee ceremony before your afternoon flight back to Addis Ababa. Transfer to your hotel or the airport for departure.
